10/22 – Tuesday Line Change
Tuesday’s are for hockey!
Every week this article will be dedicated to my top 3 Puck Line Picks of the night. This week, I like the Road Warriors.
Washington +1.5 | -214
Lock this one down.
Washington and Calgary are both 10 games into the season and they aren’t too far away in points. Washington has scored 10 more goals than the Flames and have only let up 4 more.
The Caps take a 4-1 Road Record out to Calgary and have arguably the best Power Play in the league – converting at almost 50% on the road so far this season. The Flames are at the top of the list for most penalized teams this season, giving the opponents 4 chances on the PP per game – look for the Caps to take advantage with the extra man and get the W (I would suggest taking the moneyline on the Caps, as you’ll get a better value – the only way I see Washington losing this game is in OT)
Caps 5 – Flames 4 (OT)
Edmonton -1.5 | +219
James Neal went out to Edmonton with one thing in mind….
GET MCDAVID BACK TO THE PLAYOFFS – And he is doing his best to give Connor the support he needs to make this team click.
The Oilers have started the season 7-1-1 with a +10 goal differential and they aren’t looking to stop here. They have won 3 of 7 games by 2 goals, all against teams in the East – but tonight presents one of their easier opponents to start the season.
While the Wild have been getting better – they still don’t live up to the two giant contracts on the team. Starting the season 2-6 and being outscored 18-32 over those 8 games, they do not have anything going for them right now. A lackluster offense on a team that allows over 32 shots per game just isn’t going to get it done.
Lock in the Oilers Puck Line at -1.5 tonight at +219 and enjoy the game.
Oilers 4 – Wild 1
Vancouver -1.5 | +192
Detroit is good at losing, and they are good at losing by a lot. They are 3-5 on the season with a -9 goal differential and Vancouver is full of young talent that like to score.
They average over 3 goals per game and already dominated Detroit last week 5-1. Detroit loves to get revenge, but unfortunately that’s only going to land them in the Penalty Box multiple times this game giving the Cancuks all of the opportunities they need to win by more than one goal once again.
Lock in Vancouver -1.5 at +192
Vancouver 6 – Detroit 2
